The Jianggongqu Winter Buddhist Assembly, with a history of nearly 900 years, is a traditional religious activity of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism. It is held every winter in an orderly manner in Chushur County. Recently, outstanding monks from Ganden Monastery, Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, Rato Monastery, and other monasteries participated in the assembly, where they learned from each other, exchanged viewpoints, and improved their religious attainments by chanting and debating sutras.
