Recently, the first trade and exchange meeting and the 11th Drolma Langtso Art Festival were held in Zito Town, Lhorong County, Chamdo, Tibet Autonomous Region.

The festival consists of a series of activities such as artistic performances, specialty product exhibition and sales, horse racing, the tug-of-war contest, the sandbag-holding race, the oil-barrel rolling race, and track and field competitions. Besides, during the Festival, the exhibition and sales of local agricultural and sideline products, as well as handicrafts, and the photography exhibition was also held, which attracted many enterprises and merchants. The event serves as a platform to meet the masses’ spiritual and cultural demands and display their new life, and also opens up a new ground for the town to develop cultural tourism.
