Tibetan calligraphy class in a middle school in Gyacha, Tibet



On May 7, Tashi Dawa teaches students the Tibetan calligraphy in the Gyacha County Middle School in Lhoka City, Tibet Autonomous Region. The class, with two teachers teaching Tibetan language, has two lessons per week. The course includes basic writing skills such as writing and posture, as well as writing methods of various types of Tibetan characters such as Ujin style, Zhuca style, Curen style and Cutong style.
