Pangong Lake, bright pearl on western Tibet

Pangong Lake, which looks like a blue pearl, sits in the western part of Rutog County, Ngari Prefecture, Tibet. The lake is 4,240 meters above sea level and has the highest bird island in the world. Under the sunlight, the lake water appears dark green, light green, dark blue and other colors. The bird's eye view scenery of the lake is even more picturesque.
