Tibet’s autumn harvest progresses orderly



As of August 21, the Tibet Autonomous Region had harvested 783,000 mu(128,989 acre) of crops, accounting for 19.33% of the total sown area of crops, of which 624,400 mu(102,861.73 acre) are grain crops, accounting for 22% of the sown area of grain. The Tibet Autonomous Region has replanted 116,500 mu(19,191.85 acre) of crops, including 108,000 mu(17,791.59 acre) of forage grass, 2,800 mu(461.26 acre) of grain and 5,600 mu(922.53 acre) of vegetables. This year's autumn harvest is progressing orderly as the previous years in a normal level.
